Tiphaine & Jonathan – Lorgues
Tiphaine and Jonathan are both from the south of France. They have known since high school, and after so many years together, they chose the Château de Berne for their wedding..
The planification : 12 months – 6 vendors
The Chateau de Berne is a Relais & Châteaux situated between Lorgues and Flayosc, in the heart of Provence. This luxury wine estate has 500 hectares of preserved nature in the vineyards, it’s an ideal place for a bucolic wedding in Var.
Wishing a secular ceremony for their wedding, they thought of Ombelline. Very quickly we conducted stationery, decoration and floral design, besides the ceremony. A wedding theme around the Roaring Twenties, with colors like pink powder and gold, candles, lots of candles…
The wedding : September, 2014
Work began shortly after my meeting with the couple when we focused on the creation of their invitation. After determining the style, it’s been a real pleasure for me to work this theme and design a decoration for the young couple.
The bridal bouquet and the Floral Pins were soft pink and white. The rose was in the spotlight ! I ordered to my provider : some Sorbet roses (splendid !), Mini-Eden roses (well-known) and Talea roses (a golden rose).
The weather was superb mid-September, in fact it was so hot that we had to provide sun umbrellas for the ceremony to prevent the guests to be in the sun. La Scène sur l’eau is a really nice space in the Chateau de Berne. A little out of time, everyone could enjoy the pleasure of a ceremony at the waters edge in the castle park.
We imagined a photobooth in the former kiosk of the park. I wanted to create a setting in abyss to give depth to this creation. The result was really lovely and the guests loved. At 21 pm they were still enjoying all the accessories available to make original photos.
